Spring Unfolds at Weatherstone House - Weatherstone House

Celebrate the season of renewal with 15% off stays at Weatherstone House

Spring does not arrive dramatically but reveals itself in stages, and after a long and frosty winter the landscape of the North Devon coast begins to slowly awaken. It is a delight to witness the fields surrounding our House soften from hibernating hues into layered, fresh greens and watch the skeletal hedgerows begin to sprout fresh leaves and steadily come back to life. To celebrate the season, we are offering 15% off all bookings made before the end of April.

Imagine beginning the morning at Weatherstone - on clear mornings light spills through the vast windows on either side of the house as birds begin their dawn chorus. The scent of fresh coffee drifting through the living spaces as you brew a pot before setting out for a long, slow morning walk along the coast just beyond.

By the time you return the day has fully awakened. Sunlight settles gently across the stone terrace and the garden is beginning to stir with bees enjoying the early spring blooms. Inside, the house feels calm and welcoming, its natural textures and wide views drawing the landscape inward as the rhythm of the surrounding hills and sea has quietly shaped every corner of the home.

What's on in Spring

The Barnstaple Pannier Market hosts North Devon SPRINGfest, a vibrant seasonal celebration filled with local food crafts, live music and workshops.

Later in the season, art lovers can explore the “Spring into Summer” exhibition at the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon. Painters, photographers, ceramicists and textile artists from across the region come together to celebrate the creativity of the region.

For something a little different, the Mind, Body and Soul Festival at The BIG Sheep offers a weekend dedicated to wellbeing. Visitors can explore workshops, holistic therapies, talks and demonstrations focused on relaxation and mindfulness.

Spring across Croyde Bay invites a more thoughtful pace so weather its spent wandering coastal paths or discovering local markets and exhibitions, the season offers a richness that reveals itself moment by moment.

Come and experience a home shaped by the landscape that surrounds it. This spring, discover Weatherstone House and the beauty of North Devon.
